Crane-Assisted Sycamore Removal | Stonor Park, Oxfordshire

Specialist removal of a large mature sycamore within the historic Stonor Park estate.

A substantial sycamore requiring a carefully planned crane-assisted removal due to its size, weight and position within the estate.

Working alongside the crane team, the tree was dismantled in large controlled sections, with the main stem lifted directly from its position and transferred onto a trailer for removal. Using mechanical assistance allowed the team to manage exceptionally heavy sections safely and efficiently while minimising impact on the surrounding grounds.

The project demonstrates the planning, technical arboricultural expertise and specialist equipment Oakhurst can bring to complex tree removals on estates, historic properties and sensitive sites.
